Salina Turda was a salt mine in the Durgău-Valea Sărată area of Turda a city near Cluj Napoca now turned into an amusement park opened for tourists all over the world in 1992.

The over 2000 year old salt mine started operating in the medieval times and shut down in 1932. It was around 1939 when the second world war started that the local authorities reopened it and used it as shelter for Turda citizens.

They have some interesting games like mini golf, ping pong, tennis, bowling, ferris wheel,including children play ground and many more. Its 400m deep and it’s has a lake where you can some boat riding.
