The latest craze for Pickleball these days is Paddles that have a rough or tacky face that creates more spin on the ball. This is done by paddle manufacturers adding Grit or Carbon Fibers to the paddles face. The problem with these paddles is that they loose their tackiness every time you play, which intern decreases the paddles spin rate. There are plenty of YouTube videos out there that measure spin rates on new and used paddles. So instead of buying a new paddle every month, I've found a way to apply grit to your used paddle face so that you get that spin back!
