Check below description for location details info.

Interview with the Vampire is a 1994 American horror film directed by Neil Jordan, based on Anne Rice's 1976 novel of the same name, and starring Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt.

It was filmed primarily in New Orleans , San Francisco, Paris and London (where interior sets were constructed at Pinewood Studios).

00:15 Ferry building located on The Embarcadero in San Francisco
01:00 Louis's hotel located at the intersection of Taylor Street, Market Street San Francisco
02:25 Oak Alley Plantation in nearby Vacherie, Louisana. They only used the building facade.
03:15 Destrehan Plantation, Louisana. The famous scene with the pets was shot there.
5:30 Jackson Square / St Louis Cathedrale
6:30 funeral building 638 Dumaine St, New Orleans
6:45 Natchez River Boat Pier , 451 St Peter, New Orleans
07:00 Home to vampires Lestat and Louis , 751 Royal Str, New Orleans. The interiors were shot in Pinewood studios in London
07:15 Gallier House, 1132 Royal St. This famously preserved museum is said by Anne Rice scholars to be the model for the house on Rue Royal that was home to vampires Lestat and Louis in Interview with the Vampire.
07:40 Swamp scenes were done in studios. But here is the New Orleans closest swamps on the Pearl River. A recommended spot if you visit New Orleans.
08:00 Just accross the 751 Royal Str. This facade is shown twice in the movie.
08:25 In Paris, the exterior and lobby of the Opera Garnier were dressed to film Louis and Claudia's arrival at their hotel in Paris.
9:25 The cinema, in which Louis watches a sunrise (or Lost Boys :) for the first time in 200 years, was the Coliseum on Coliseum Street & Thalia Street in New Orleans. Built in 1915, the Coliseum got serious damage from Hurricane Katrina 2005. The whole area looks like all different now but the St Theresa of Avila Church can be seen the background.
9:30 The cinema interior is Phoenix Cinema, 52 High Road, East Finchley, in north London.
10:00 Louis finding Lestat , " got the scent of death" 1511 Esplanade Ave
New Orleans. The film screw built a set around it. I invite you to visit this spot at night. It is a creepy corner street.
11:00 The famous Golden Gate bridge, possibly the most beautiful, certainly the most photographed, bridge in the world. At the time of its opening in 1937, it was both the longest and the tallest suspension bridge in the world, with a main span of 4,200 feet (1,280 m) and a total height of 746 feet (227 m).

For those who may ask about Louis and Lestat becoming as joker/clown vampire in this video? Well, Do you remember this parody movie "Killer Klowns From Outer Space" (1988)? This movie was shot in the same location (boardwalk Santa Cruz) as Joel Schumacher’s teen vampire flick "The Lost Boys"...and, this is the Oscars year for Brad Pitt and Joaquin Phoenix (joker role) . Then, when the vampire gets mad...what if it transforms itself into ...a joker vampire ?! :) Btw, at 12:40 that's Joaquin Phoenix joker laugh.
