Japan Expo Paris 2024, held from July 11 to July 14 at the Parc des Expositions Paris Nord - Villepinte, was a premier event celebrating Japanese culture and entertainment. As the third largest exhibition in France and the first European festival dedicated to Japanese culture, it attracted over 255,000 attendees.

Special guests and performances featured dynamic Yosakoi dance by IORIYA, the KIMONO×DANCE PROJECT blending traditional Japanese costumes with dance, and thrilling samurai combat by SAMURAI ARTIST KAMUI. Cultural exhibits and workshops in the WABI SABI space showcased over 90 artisans with traditional Japanese crafts, including tea ceremonies, traditional music, and calligraphy workshops. The Sakura Stage hosted performances like samurai battles and Kabuki dance.

Anime, manga, and cosplay were also a major focus, with exclusive screenings, panels, and meet-and-greets with famous creators, plus numerous cosplay competitions and showcases. Gastronomy enthusiasts enjoyed culinary delights at the ROKU KITCHEN by Ai Fujiroku, featuring traditional Japanese pastries and insights into the health benefits of Japanese cuisine.
