Jyoti Verma is the mother of 12 yr old Tanya. Tanya Verma is a 12-year-old down syndrome child.

Jyoti's extra chromosome makes her extra talented and special. Tanya is a very active and energetic girl who loves to socialize and meet new people. A fan of Bollywood and Punjabi movies, she managed to woo the kids clothing brand 'Hopscotch' and started modelling for it. She also impressed the judges with her dance moves and came first in a talent hunt organized by Jammu based NGO 'Beloved Grace'.

Tanya has also participated in a lot of cultural programs of her society including the Ramleela play. From dancing to acting, cooking to meditation, Tanya does it all.

After all, Tanya is 'specially abled'.
