Among the large mammals of our fauna, wild boars are undoubtedly the most abundant and prosperous. The high number of young that wild boars give birth to, as well as their omnivorism, enable the species to maintain such high population levels. It is possibly the omnivorous mammal of the Spanish fauna that adapts best to any place and condition.
