The house was designed in 2003 and built in 2004 . The home was originally designed with standing seam metal roof to resemble a traditional south florida cracker style home. minimal architectural details in roof were intentional. Due to budget constraints during construction a shingle roof was installed. Dec 2022 the roof was replaced with .032 aluminum 16 inch standing seam silver metallic metal roof. the metal was manufactured byTri County Metals in Deland Florida . The entire project was installed by the home owners and the help of a 1 neighbor. The project took the homeowner 6 weeks to complete
