I compare Meguiar's Ultimate compound up against Ultimate Polish to help you work out which is the right product to use on faded yellow car paint. This will also work on faded red paint and I have made several other videos about polishing a car by hand if you do not have access to a machine polisher.

The Polishing Process:
1. Make sure you give your car a Deep Clean This includes using iron fallout remover on the bodywork.
2. The next step is to use either a clay bar, block or clay mitt to remove any contaminants in the paint.
3. Make sure your car is thoroughly dry and clean from any dirt.
4. In most scenarios start with a medium compound (id say ultimate compound is more medium than heavy)
work on small sections at a time roughly 40-50cm squares and wipe away residue
5. then follow up with ultimate polish using a softer pad to refine the paint
