In this video, Crystalia Glass technicians show you how to measure an opening to ensure your glass wall will fit impeccably.



You will need:

a laser level
a measuring tape
a pen and paper
a ladder


(1, 2) - measure the width of the opening at the floor level using a laser level

(3, 4) - measure the width of the top part of the opening

(5, 6) - measure the height of the opening on the right side

(7, 8) - measure the height of the opening on the left side

(9) - to measure the level of the ceiling, install the laser at a convenient height, mark every foot on the ceiling, and measure from the level line

(10) - measure the level of the floor following the same method

NOTE: make sure to measure the floor and the ceiling in the direction of the door swing

(11) - to measure the level of the wall, install the laser at a convenient distance, mark every foot on the wall, and measure from the level line

(12) - repeat step (11) on the opposite wall
