In 2013 the PebbleCreek Big Band presented their annual Burst of Music show. I wanted to include for the majority of our audience who knew nothing about Jewish music, that at one time not too long ago, a Jewish based tune had reached number one on the pop charts. This is our version based on the Andrew Sisters rendition of Bei Mir Bist Du Shein.
