In this video, I have included Thin Layer Chromatography (TLC) principle, experimental details, Rf values and few problems for you to work on. This information will be valuable for undergrads planning to do research in organic labs and going to appear for theory as well as practical/ lab exams.

As you know, generally TLC plates are made using either silica gel or alumina coated on glass slides or metal sheet. Just place your sample and run the experiment you will be surprised to see how many compounds are present in your sample!!!
