Excursions for Whale Watching and Bear and Wildlife Watching
We saw quite a few whales on the whale watching tour even though it was rainy and windy all day. The bear watching excursion we were able to watch a mother bear with two cubs in a meadow but they were too far away to get great photos with our current camera setups. The bear did stand up on her hind legs and look around a few times, hopefully someone got the photo!
The guides for both excursions were excellent! We learned so much about whales and bears as well as information about Alaska in general. Two thumbs up for both trips.
