In this episode, we chat with Justice and Bee from Alpha Farm intentional community in Deadwood, Oregon. Founded in 1972, Alpha Farm sits on 280 acres in the Coastal Range of Oregon and currently has 12 inhabitants stewarding the space. They share an expansive vegetable garden, a tree garden for firewood, goats and farm birds for milk and eggs, and nine established buildings. We talk about the history of their community and compare experiences with the consensus process, work scheduling, and utilizing different visitor policies.
