We speak and correspond with people daily who share their stories of having met my mom both on a personal and professional level, and more still who are just learning about her and are saddened to hear of her passing without having gotten to meet her.

She was one of a kind! Not many people know that she was a big prankster and loved nothing more than to have a good laugh. She had a heart of gold and was generous to a fault. She loved easily and couldn't hold a grudge no matter how hard she tried. She was tough but soft all at the same time. One of the best things she could ever do was model how to be a patient and loving mom to my own daughter, Sophie. She loved us kids so fiercely and always made sure we knew it. That is the best gift of her legacy within my life and I'm forever grateful.
