The Arakawa River is just so clean.
It was probably the clearest water I have ever seen.
It was so clear that you couldn't even tell it was there.

The first day was the core of the stream, and there were many attractions such as winding of Kyokutaki waterfall, back passage of Aya waterfall, right bank winding of CS waterfall, and left bank winding of Otaki waterfall.
Especially the left bank winding of the Oodaki Fall was quite unpleasant because the lower part was slippery.
We entered the Higashimata stream and secured a bed for two on a small stream bed.
We were attacked by mosquitoes and went to bed with our faces battered and bruised.

On the second day, we continued climbing up a 10-meter waterfall.
When we entered the left stream, we came across a 50-meter waterfall.
There was nothing we could do about this waterfall, so we made a big high roll from the right bank.
The rest of the falls are comfortable to climb.
When the water dries up, it is finally the head of the source.
If you go out of the stream type and climb up the grassy slope, you will be directly under the Ooasahi Hut.
After that, it descends to Harihodaira via Mt.
This descent may be the crux of Arakawa.
The six-hour descent from the summit almost gave me heat stroke, and my luggage was heavy.
It was quite tough.

Even so, the beauty of the Arakawa River water is one of the best in Japan, and I recommend it.
