At the beginning of June, we went on a short trip to Toruń. On the way, we decided to take a short break in the journey and visit the museum of the Masovian countryside - the Open-Air Museum in Sierpc. We parked our motorhome in a large parking lot by the road, two hundred meters from the entrance to the open-air museum. At the entrance to the museum there is a ticket office and information boards. Entrance tickets cost 18 PLN. On Mondays, free entry to the open-air museum. We can see several dozen residential and farm buildings with interior furnishings. They are arranged in groups and homesteads of various layout and size, and show one of the types of 19th-century villages, the so-called row. In addition, animal husbandry is conducted and the fields are cultivated, which is an additional attraction not only for children. There is also a restaurant and a gift shop in the open-air museum.
