Being diagnosed with stage 4 metastatic melanoma in 2023 made it one of the toughest years of my life, but I'm entering 2024 in remission and relatively healthy (both physically and mentally).

I won't be able to go back to being the 'before cancer' version of myself, but I want to live the best life I can with this disease. That's a big part of why I started making cancer vlogs in 2023 and will continue to talk about my experience as a patient in 2024 and beyond.

My 4 goals that are specific to my cancer experience are:
1) Become more comfortable with my identity again
2) Be 'Cancer Guy' when appropriate - not always
3) Become a better friend & advocate to the cancer community
4) Live life with gratitude and celebrate as much as I can
