The week is off to a great start! All is well after their first night without Mom and Dad. The kitties are calm and contented. Lucky ate his meds and wet food with gusto! He was also very excited for and happy on his 45 minute, 1.1 mi walk. He did a lot of sniffing and we kind of just went wherever the scent led us, which he really enjoyed. Mouse was eager for the chicken spoon, but didn't request any physical affection today before or after our walk. Spike let me get the spoon very close to him, but he didn't lick it. He did let me put my hand within a foot of him when he was loafing on the couch as well, which is a nice sign. I brought them a tunnel to begin filling up the house with enrichment items for the cats. Hopefully they will check it out later, but they were mostly focused on being cozy and napping during our visit. The fountains have been refilled, and kitty kibble refreshed. Lucky got his snuffle mat and a fresh bone, and was eager to get outside by the end of our visit today. Looking forward to being back around the same time tomorrow, and starting on Wednesday we will be able to spenda full 2 hours a day together! Looking forward to it 😻
