Hey everyone! In this video we'll be removing the blown-in attic insulation from the house. There are a number of reasons to remove old insulation, such as to make it easier to rewire the house, convert an attic to living space, or to air-seal the space. Today, I'm showing you how I removed my insulation with the help of a vacuum rental. Attic insulation removal can absolutely be done DIY.

I'll be frank with you, this is not a fun job. It's dirty, hot, and cramped most of the time. On the upside, you can save a lot of money by doing this yourself with the aid of an equipment rental store. Buckle up, we're jumping into this one.
