Is there a more beautiful time of year? Fall in Alaska took my love of fall colors to the next hemisphere! Fall in Alaska is next level gorgeous! A drive through Thompasan Pass on the way to Valdez stole my heart for the remaining of time as I flew through the mountains, over the lakes and rivers. Just WOW!

After getting a few additional chores done I took an unforgettable trip through Wrangell-St. Elias National Park to McCarthy, up to Kennecott Mines Historic Landmark. A trip we will now make yearly, the fall colors and lack of bus loads of tourists are 100% worth not having access inside some of the historical buildings.
