Hello. This time I went to a temple in Korea that is not well known to many people. The place I visited was a temple in Gyeonggi-do. The temple building is built on a cliff, giving off an atmosphere like something out of a Chinese martial arts novel. And it's easy to get to by public transportation.

This temple, built on a dizzying cliff, was founded by a descendant of Admiral Yi Sun-sin.
The main temple is Maitreya Hall, which enshrines Maitreya Buddha, and there are also Yongwanggak, a cave temple, and a 7-story stone pagoda.
Behind the temple, you can see the amazing thousand Buddha statues enshrined one by one on the cliff. Above it, the white and gigantic Maitreya Buddha is looking down.
