Since 1988, Erni Loosen has been on a mission to restore the reputation of #riesling as one of the greatest #grape varieties in the world.
From the steep, slate cliffs of the #Mosel River, Erni Loosen led the charge to restore Riesling's reputation as a world class #wine. More work remains to be done, but Erni and Weingut Dr. #Loosen succeeded at making Riesling famous and loved again. His knowledge of wine history and the unique characteristics of the Mosel region make this conversation one of the most educational and fun I've ever done. I have returned to it many times.
