After a week of working in Bornholm, we were pretty ready for some non-work related activities around Bornholm. So, we did some research for a Bornholm Hiking Trail and ended up on the first Saturday heading to the Northern end of the Island for a Hike along the coast. The Coastline in this part of Bornholm Denmark is quite rugged and is beautiful.

If you want to do the hike we have done you start either in Gudhjem or at the Art Museum along the coast. To do a return hike is a good day's worth of walking with stops to see the coves, the views and explore Gudhjem a little. The trek is known as the Gudhjem-Helligdommen hike and is quite a popular one in Bornholm during the summer.

Our March trip to Bornholm was pretty quiet and uncrowded but in summer it is very hard to find places to stay in Bornholm so book early!

It was a really enjoyable and beautiful walk despite the gloomy weather that day.
