After 5 weeks in Tamatave, I take the bus back to Antananarivo. The flight back to Canada is the next day. I had a great stay in Madagascar. this was my 2nd trip, hope to go back later this year.

Madagascar has a rich and diverse history as a former French colony. Before its colonial era, Madagascar was inhabited by various Austronesian and Bantu-speaking groups, fostering a unique cultural tapestry. In the early 17th century, French traders established contact with the island, gradually paving the way for French colonial ambitions.
