Pulsar’s Merger LRF XP50 Thermal Binoculars combines the classic design of daytime binoculars with advanced thermal imaging technology. The familiar profile of daytime binoculars provides outstanding ergonomics for user comfort during extended periods of observation, and easy-to-use controls offer intuitive operation. The core of the Merger LRF XP50 is a high-sensitivity 640x480 sensor, capable of detecting the smallest differences in temperature even in environments where thermal contrast is poor such as in fog, rain, and other adverse weather. The sensor’s thermal capabilities are enhanced even further thanks to an F50/1.0 germanium fast aperture lens. The combination of a high-powered sensor and advanced lens allows the Merger LRF XP50 to detect heat signatures up to 1800 meters away and projects them onto a high-definition AMOLED display for positive target identification. Heat signatures are viewable in 8 different color palettes, allowing the user to select the best option for the given situation.
