Fionna and Cake, a brand-new series set in the world of Adventure Time, premiered just a few days ago, and it's already blown me away.

My expectations for this one were definitely through the roof as Adventure Time is one of, if not my absolute, favorite pieces of art ever, but I was still underestimating how fun, creative, and entertaining Fionna and Cake would be.

I've seen lots of people say the second episode in particular is a top 10-20 episode of Adventure Time, and I'm honestly inclined to believe it. The character drama and conflict within is hard to come by even in a show as consistently meaningful as Adventure Time.

I can't wait to see more of the series and further develop my opinions on it, but for now, I just wanted to share my general thoughts and feelings on the two wonderful episodes of the series that we've received so far.
