I have taken to the water on many different craft over the years but this is perhaps the first that is engine propelled and roomy with two onboard yet light enough to pick up and sling over the shoulder.

I was able to find good sport on the usual Cornish summer species close to shore over shallow reefs on the south coast in this session. It’s really rewarding to fish light and I find myself sticking with the lighter set ups more and more often now like I am in this video.

The Fiiish crazy paddle tail never fails to amaze me with its ability to consistently catch fish in so many different environments. To go catch a Couches bream on one just goes to show how good of a job they do at imitating the natural prey.
