Prank channels are one of the oldest genres in YouTube history. At first the pranks started out simple and nothing to crazy. Eventually during the peak era of pranks it started to get a bit wild and a lot of the times these channels would take it too far. The prank genre eventually went on a downfall and fell off, but recently within the past few years it made a comeback and brought a new wave of prank channels who did a lot of good like Jidion, Lofe, Kanel Joseph, Danny Duncan, in contrast to the bad and evil of some of the previous channels. While there has been a lot of good to come out of pranks, recently, there's also been many bad.
