Here we travel from La Romana, on the Dominican Republic's east, to the Capital, Santo Domingo, through autovia del este (eastern Freeway). The video has been timelapsed to 4x. La Romana's economy is pretty diversified, with an important presence of the Food processinng industry, tourism, manufacturing and agriculure.

The city lies in the mid point just between Punta Cana and Santo Domingo. It's connected to Punta Cana through "Autopista del coral", and to Santo Domingo through "Autovia del este".
