A great overnight/long day walk, the 22km Giles Track explores the lesser known parts of Watarrka National Park (Kings Canyon). Starting at Kathleen Springs, the trail traverses the edge of the George Gill Range, passing several ephemeral creek beds before reaching the pagoda-filled 'Mini Bungle Bungles' as it reaches Kings Canyon. A great introduction to multi-day hiking (or a longer one day challenge!) in the Red Centre
