When the inline skating progress slows down

Something was broken inside me for the last couple of weeks. I have been beaten-out of my comfort zone. I skated different spots, in different countries. And nothing seemed familiar.
It looked like my grinds were worse than 8 months ago. Therefore, I had to do a sanity check - get out in the most "uncomfortable" place and see if I can do my basic grinds. Concrete ledges never looked too easy for me.

The first thing that I am very happy about - is that I have my blading footage from the last year when I came back to blading. It lets me compare my tricks.
The second great thing, that the soul grind, royale, and frontside is better than any time in my skating career (I only started grinding 10months ago, being 35 years old)!
The third amazing thing that I actually went there and skated. With muscle pain from yesterday session. With torn medial meniscus. With all the other excuses. I fell many times today. But I got my confidence back. Don't give up!

If you are skating - you are progressing. Just slower than in those first couples of months.
