Pomegranates are fun and enjoyable to eat despite all the work it takes to peel off the arils from the mesocarp. I recommend skipping all the brown and mushy ones. Pomegranates come from the region along Southern Asia ranging from what was once the Persian empire to India, and have been introduced around the world. This is a great starter guide for getting started with some seedlings indoors during wintertime. I got a very high germination rate with this method. The pomegranate I ate was grown in California, which suggests that my seedlings will love the local climate.
