In this section between the 6th and 7th seal details we are given two major topics. The group of 144,000 men whom God had sealed, representing 12 of the tribes of Israel, which we looked at last week.

This week we look at a group that are distinctly different and they are those who came to believe after the beginning of the tribulation. They are from the whole of humanity, which implies those who died, from all over the world, but are believers. They are not the church, since they are said to come out of the Great Tribulation. Theirs is a number so great that it could not be numbered. Theirs is a number which will continue to grow for the duration of the 7 years.

Some intriguing details are given, but there is also much that cannot be completely known, as the details we are given do not prove all of the account beyond doubt. It is, nonetheless a fascinating section to consider.
