I wanted to make a bed frame that required no tools nor hardware to assemble and disassemble. Starting with Laura Kampf's design (   • A very very very simple Plywood Bed  ), I made some modifications to accommodate a king sized bed, added french cleats to the side tables and headboard, and left an extension off the end as a little bench.
