We just wanted to try out this trail for the first time - Gravel rides are usually a drive away but this one was just in our city and seemed to fit the bill for an easy going trail ride away from cars and roads (except that at least 17 miles of the ride was on roads...but they're the ones we're familiar with...oh well).
