Although Dan Sweeney is an experienced musician, his partner and lead vocalist Colin McGowan had never performed live before an audience until they formed the band Ever Green in 2019 when they got together to sing some traditional Irish tunes.

Based in Cleveland, Ohio, Ever Green started writing their own original music, and has since become of the most in-demand Irish acts in the area with performances scheduled throughout the region at pubs & festivals.

They recently released their album Plastic Paddies and they talk with CoolCleveland's Thomas Mulready about their process while previewing the album's lead-off track, In Americay.
