‘The bombing was painful; we had to take the kids and leave.’

Displaced Lebanese citizens speak to MEE’s Nader Durgham in Dhour el-Choueir, in Mount Lebanon. Efforts are ongoing to provide shelter and meet the needs of people displaced from areas in southern and eastern Lebanon, which have been under Israeli bombardment since 23 September.

More than 90,000 people have been reported as newly displaced in Lebanon this week, according to the UN International Organization for Migration. Israeli bombardment has killed over 700 people across parts of Lebanon since Monday.
