I find that many times, I'm incredibly unproductive even though I can look busy.

A while ago, I read a book by Keith Cunningham -- The Road Less Stupid (disclaimer: I don't know much about him and do not endorse everything he says, but his advice on this specific topic is sound.) He talked about the concept of sitting down for what he calls "Thinking Time" -- and asking yourself really pointed questions about what is wrong with your current situation.

His suggestion is that most people are too focused on the short term problems, or don't have enough vision formed and clarified to be able to actually make good progress in their business.

When I sat down to solve my own business problems, it became clear that we needed to update our website to get more clients. And yet, it was also the thing I least wanted to do.

Hopefully you are inspired to consider what it is that you need to be focusing on at the cost of everything else, and when you do -- you will find your goals closer than ever to reach.
