I review the fascinating history of the graveyard itself and the mining aspect of the sometimes brutal lives lived and lost in the Hedley area in the early 1900s. As I wander the graveyard I also discuss the Moose Lodge and Masonic quarters of the graveyard and the fact that they suspect at least 25 people are buried in other areas in unmarked graves, found with ground penetrating radar. The location is maintained through the efforts of local volunteers and efforts continue to get the graveyard active again for the local community (urns only).
