This has never happened in our homestead. In the morning, we open the cellar, and there is water, empty buckets, jars, bottles are floating around. Just a natural disaster in our house. One day before, there was only a small puddle of water. As if sensing that more water might appear, we placed the vegetables in boxes and raised them higher. We left nothing of value on the floor. Good thing we have a drainage water pump which helped us a lot in this trouble. We pumped out the water, but after a few hours we saw that the problem had not gone away. There is water in the basement again, it will need to be pumped every day.
