We took a First Class Overnight Train from Da Nang Vietnam to Hanoi. This is one of the sleeper trains you can take on the Reunification express in Vietnam that travels from Ho Chi Minh City all the way up to Hanoi.
The journey is 17 hours and we decided it would be more fun than a 1 hour flight...
