A quick mod to allow your compressor fridge to run cooler using up to 50% less power.

Yes, I know it sounds too good to be true lol - but the video explains how and why this works. Simply, the thermostat sets the freezer temperature not fridge, and we were having to set it "very low" to get the fridge to the temperature to what we wanted. This made the freezer "target" unattainable or very hard work to hit, hence compressor ran far too long, probably over compressed, and got far too hot and becoming very inefficient.

This mod has made the amount of cool air from the freezer into the fridge increase so the fridge is cooler by default, and I can then turn the thermostat down making the compressor work less hard, making it all more efficient.

No noticeable difference in the temperature of freezer either, no additional icing etc. In fact, no downsides.

Too good to be true, but works FOR US.
