The record shattering Northwest heatwave has caused hundreds of deaths in Canada and the United States due to all-time high temperatures caused by man-made climate change. Portland broke its record-high temperature three days in a row, eventually hitting 116 degrees F. In Canada, the national record was broken with a scorching temperature of 121 degrees F.

This is not normal and it's not a simple blip in a natural cycle. This is a man-made heatwave and we're nowhere prepared for it or what comes next.
