Things to look out for:
NOT ALL FUSE BOXES ARE THE SAME EVEN IF YOU HAVE THE SAME CAR ** SEE OWNERS MANUAL BEFORE CONTINUING ** here is a comment from a viewer Kevin Clack that had an issue using the same fuse i used on this video: “It appears you connected the backup camera fuse to the F3 fuse connection which is used for the airbags and has power whether or not the car is on. I followed this video and now my airbag light is on. I think it is more appropriate to connect the rearview camera to the F13 fuse connection because it only has power when the car is turned on. It also is used for the reverse lamps. When connected to F3, my airbag light turned on and the head unit did not recognize the camera after initial use. Now that it is connected to F13, it works perfectly.” Be safe everyone.
