Not much is known about Disney Channel’s new ‘That’s So Raven’ spin-off, but all of that is about to change right now.
So, now that everyone has calmed down a little after learning about Raven Baxter’s return to Disney Channel, more details about the untitled series has surfaced and you’re probably going to want to sit down for this.
The show will follow Raven, who is a divorced mom, and her two pre-teen kids, Nia and Booker, with Nia being the one who inherited Raven’s incredible ability to see glimpses of the future. While we’re all super excited for the Disney Channel alum’s return, I think I speak for everyone when I say we’re even more excited to meet her two kiddos.
As per E! News, Nia is Raven’s QUOTE, ‘bold and confident daughter who frequently finds herself in over her head. She’s well-intentioned and won’t give up when she sets her mind to something (even if it gets her into trouble), and always wants to help people do what’s right. She just started middle school and is great at science (though average in other subjects) – and her life gets way more complicated when she suddenly gets the power to see visions of the future.” So, long story short, Nia is basically Raven’s mini-me.
Booker, on the other hand, is Raven’s younger son who is QUOTE, “gullible and innocent and in no rush to grow up. He is an unapologetic mama’s boy.” No word yet if Chelsea, Eddie, Cory, or either of her parents will make an appearance in the new series. The untitled That’s So Raven spin-off is set to make its debut in 2017 and we cannot wait!
