In today's video, the owner of Black Bear Kitchen in Clermont, Florida reached out to us and asked if we could come by and do a review, since they are a new restaurant in downtown Clermont. We like helping small businesses so we decided to stop in. Black Bear Kitchen serves KC style BBQ and they have some pretty unique items. As we entered the restaurant, the owner happened to be there so we got to meet him and asked him what we should get. He ended up giving us multiple things to try so that we could show it off. We tried the ribs, pulled pork, green beans, baked beans, Cuban, Rueben, the stinkin’ good corn cake, and the stinkin’ good brisket. Everything tasted really good but the two items that needed up blowing us away were the brisket, which might just be the best in Central Florida, and the corn cake, which was so very good. We were so full but also decided to try each and every sauce so that we could figure out which one we liked the best. The KC original is top BBQ sauce. After we got done there, we found out the the owner also owns BB’s Pourhouse Taproom next door. It features 50ish beers and ciders and you pay per ounce. They showed us how it worked and also let us sample a few different things. It was cool! Overall, we really had a great time trying Black Bear Kitchen in Clermont. Thanks to the owner for letting us try everything and also to the staff and manager for how nice they were, not only to us, but to others eating out.
