Engineers often reduce the objects we analyze to single points, but can we lose information when doing so? In this video we look at the concept of the mass moment of inertia and how we can quantify it for our simple engineering models of rigid bodies.
This video is part of a series of blended learning videos for the course Engineering Mechanics: Statics with the Bachelor of Aerospace Engineering programme at TUDelft.
