On 3rd August 2024, the Glasgow Vintage Vehicle Trust celebrated 100 years since the introduction of motorbuses by Glasgow Corporation Transport. With support from Glasgow City Council, Police Scotland, First Glasgow and Riverside Museum a parade of buses assembled at Glasgow Green and from there made its way through the city centre and across the west end before arriving at Riverside Museum to go on display.

This fantastic film by Paul Russell of Newshot Productions tells the story of the event and provides a snapshot on bus travel from the past.
