2025 Ford Mustang Sedan - The Ford Mustang's journey started back in 1964 with its first-generation two-door model, based on the Ford Falcon family sedan. Since then, the Mustang has always been a two-door powerhouse, with only a few four-door prototypes ever seeing the light of day. But in recent years, there have been whispers about expanding this iconic range. And just a couple of days ago, Ford CEO Jim Farley confirmed that a four-door Mustang could indeed become a reality.

Exciting, right? Earlier, Ford even released an official sketch of this four-door Mustang, giving us a tantalizing glimpse of what's to come. While it's just a drawing for now, it's based on the seventh-generation Mustang that premiered in September 2022. This potential new model isn't just about adding a pair of doors.

The renderings show an increased wheelbase to accommodate a full-fledged four- or five-seater interior. Plus, the roofline above the second row has been raised, thanks to a retracted rear window, ensuring ample headroom for rear passengers.
