So for all of the BOTW tracks I’ve done over the years, Stables is still one I hadn’t done - mostly because it was so short and simple and really most of the charm was in the instrumentation - BUT! The new version with the addition of the music troupe in Tears of the Kingdom (and Epona's song) immediately stole my heart, starting from the moment I met Violynne 🤣 I mean how amazing is this character??? Anyway I quickly finished all of the musician side quests because I love them so much and I had to hear the final performance of Stables with all parts. I love how this quest is similar to Tarry Town where each new person brings a new layer to the song 🥲 So I tried to structure my arrangement a bit in the same vein, with more instruments joining as it goes. I’m still so obsessed with the new parts and harmonies that they added, it really puts such a fresh spin on an old classic and I really enjoyed putting this together ❤️
